Hope he gets an invite to a victory parade if we won it. It's his transfer after all that paved the way for Becker and VVD

We wanted Van Dijk last summer before we sold Coutinho. We made 70 million last year in the CL and getting another 50 odd this year at least. I reckon we'd have still got him.

The fact our outgoings in the summer like Ings/Karius were classed as loans as we dont need the money on our books yet suggests we are in a better position than planned.

He doesn't get to lift the trophy though as it might set off his back injury again
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think he’s an excellent player and I hope it works out for him at Barca. If it doesn’t, I’d expect City, Utd and Chelsea to be in for him. Can’t see Klopp being interested - let down by his attitude before he left Anfield.
            Another MASSIVE game

I'd take him back in a heartbeat......at a discounted price of course

I wouldnt. He was a great player for us, but in the latter stages he slowed down our play and stunk out the dressing room with his behavior. He has moved on and so have we (buying Alisson and VVD with the proceeds)

I'd have him back in a flash!

The potential formations and combinations would be frightening.

Coutinho, Fabinho, Shaqiri, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wijnaldum and Milner.

He's a very good player and we should certainly consider him if he is available (at a much lower price than we sold him for obviously). He would give us some great options.

The question would be would he want to come here, because we've moved on and I don't think he would walk straight into the side, he might find himself spending alot of time on the bench.

I'd offer them Moreno and £10m

Haha yeah we could just cancel the €100m clause and take him back for nothing

Weren't they interested in Mignolet at one point, I think we could add him to the deal if they play hard ball
