definitely both, Shaq has taken on the Fekir role now though. Gives us something very different to the front 3

Yes there is some of that but Lallana has never been the quickest and has often in the past held the ball too long

The thing with Shaqiri is that until he came on we plodded a bit, there was no urgency and players were too static. When he comes on his physical speed, his ability to move the ball quickly seems to spark those around him and you could definitely see the front 3 start to make more runs and show more speed and urgency in their play

Not sure I would start him every game but theres certainly some games were he should definitely start

he definitely provides more of a link the front line than anyone else in that midfield. His passing is so under rated, was saying this during the summer he's actually a lovely footballer & does genuinely seem to be suited to our fast paced style of play. An absolute steal for ÂŁ12.5m.

Shaq has comfortably proven he deserves to start ahead of Lallana, who has likewise proven he does not. Klopp has always had a massive soft spot for Lallana however, but he needs to get past it until Lallana earns his spot back (if at all).

Lallana has been surpassed by everyone else. Too slow and still recovering.

Too slow and still busy doing a Cryuff turn.

It's not really his lack of pace that bothers me (although it does) it's the way he slows our play down.

kills any impetus we have when we break.

He's really frustrating. He's obviously quite bright and clearly skilful, I just don't get why he doesn't apply his abilities to playing how we do these days

Because he was born in Yugoslavia.
