Ha ha ha didn't have time to explain the reasons why as I had to go to work lolKlopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

The is no link in midfield unless this man plays. We have nobody else in the side that can or even tries to pick a pass or run. Not quite sure how we have left ourselves in this situation. There is a giant sized hole in the shape of Coutinho still there.
Maybe Klopp thought Keita would hit the ground running and be that driving force but that just hasn't happened.

Midfield balance is off and has been most of the season. Early on Keita worked well. What changed? Shaq seemed to work on occasion too. Why haven't we solved this?Originally posted by danperkins View PostThe is no link in midfield unless this man plays. We have nobody else in the side that can or even tries to pick a pass or run. I think that the midfield balance problem comes from all the changes, our best form and performances of the season were early on where we kept a settled lineup. Since then we have been making alot of changes in midfield, this has to be unsettling to players understanding their role, we haven't really defined a system of playing (where we have 3 well defined roles and make like for like changes) or established a preferred midfield 3 that have got used to playing together.
For me this is a large part of the problem. Last year we didn't have the problems because we didn't have so many options and hence there were less changes and people knew their role better, I guess this is one of the downsides to having a bigger squad. But it is something that Klopp needs to sort outThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not sure. I think it's more the types of players we've put in. Very samey when we don't have either Shaq or Keita.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think that the midfield balance problem comes from all the changes, our best form and performances of the season were early on where we kept a settled lineup. That was kind of what I was saying, we don't have a system where the roles are well defined, Shaqiri or Keita in an attacking role, someone as a DM etc, midfields. We have tended to just put 3 players in and often they all seem to be playing the same generic role rather than 3 specific roles.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostNot sure. He's someone who can make a difference in the midfield and that is an area we are struggling in at the moment, and he's one of our form players, deserves to be a regular starter. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Big fan of the cube, provides that link that nobody else has been able to do, always looking for a pass, always moving & not afraid to try difficult through balls. Would have liked to see him get 90 mins today. Should be a banker to start in our current side but hard to know if he will the way Klopp is rotating.
