Yeah but if he's playing regularly as the AM for example, then we don't have him as a fresh option to rotate with the front 3.

Same for Bobby if you're moving him from his regular No.9 to a wide position for a game or 2.

Playing Derek there is going back to round peg, square hole territory which I was hoping we wouldn't need to do again after this window.

We've signed some serious quality but I am most excited by this fella to be honest. Dirt cheap price, point to prove, solid stats for years and has looked top class pre season.

At the very least he’s going to get Ox’s minutes. Plus probably time in wide positions. He’ll easily do 2,500 mins at least.

Agree about Lallana. He's back taking far too many touches. That's not how we play. I don't see him anywhere near starting now. We are stacked now in attacking midfield now.

Maybe those touches are useful, he set up Sturridge beautifully in a packed penalty area after a few touches.

I'm paraphrasing here and taking parts from different interviews, but Klopp mentioned that our main players played over 50 games last year and ideally they should be playing about 40, which we should be able to do this year.
Also mentioned that the big players won't mind missing certain games as long as they play in the important matches, which suggests some rotation for the 'easier' games. Basically I can see Shaq playing as many games as our main front three, particularly if you consider he'll take 10-15 games from each of them.

What a dream start to his LFC career. His work rate was apparently his biggest issue & this couldn’t be further from the truth. He’s up & down the pitch , getting stuck in & he’s absolute quality. I really can’t believe we got him for buttons.

yeah I think you're right. I'm hoping he does get thst many games as I think he could be a key player for us this season.
