Minamino was great last night, Klopp seems to have his mind set on Taki being used most as a false 9 but regardless of output, Bobby brings a certain physicality that might be hard for Minamino to replicate.
I think both will get ample minutes this year. Interesting to see whether Jota will be considered an option centrally.

Bobby needs to be dropped. Whether Minamino is the one to replace him that's a different story. Came into the game a bit and had some nice moves with Jota. Looks lightweight still but I suppose he may deserve a chance to prove himself but agree Jota Mo Mane looks tasty. Who plays where is the question.
My preference would be sticking Mané through the middle. Jota left, Salah right.
Jota has already shown more than Taki and Mané is ****ing imperious at the moment.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I remain to be convinced that moving Mane from the left - where he's just about the best on the planet and a set-up that works so well for us with the work Firmino does in that central position flanked by Mane and Mo - is a good idea. Minamino for Bobby would be a seamless swap and I thought Taki was good last night and has earned his chance.

No way I'd move Mane from the left, his left sided movement, shooting and understanding with Robertson is too good. I think Jota is very much left sided too.
With regards to Mane, he only became a left winger when Salah joined. Before that he was a right winger. He can absolutely play off either side if he needs to.
The only caveat is he's built up a great understanding with Robbo.

This......I'd fancy him either side, but he is just unplayable at times where he is and with Robbo looking fighting fit and hungry, there's profit to be had down that side.
If Trent can rediscover his form, we'll be sucking diesel in no time.
