I'd let him go for free. No one is paying £30m not even the Saudi's.

Get our money back and let him head off ?

He's a great footballer but just not reliable when it comes to his fitness.

I've said for a while that we shouldn't be keeping all three of Henderson, Thiago, and Fabinho, and that it wouldn't surprise me to see one of them leave.

Thiago's the one who has supposed interest from Fenerbache, Barcelona, and the Saudi League, so he'd make the most sense, especially with one year left on his deal.

No room for sentiment. Move him on and free up wages for the new guys.

Unless they pay the cash, then i cant see it happening. Someone in saudi will offer him a few years and a lot more money. I wouldnt be surprised to see him do an Iniesta either and head to japan for a few years. Or the MLS.

However, that will probably all be there for him in 12 months time as well.

The issue i have with thiago is his injury record. As does everyone else. But the main issue with that is when he is out of the team, we have to play a different way because nobody else can do what he can. He is amazing and surely the likes of Mac and Dom will only develop better training with Thiago every day ffs

Yeah this is the last year of his contract, given his age and the fact we are bringing in some new midfielders then I doubt it will be extended
