Thiago going wouldn't surprise me at all. It probably makes sense if Klopp wants to go back to playing a high energy, high octane midfield & Thiago just cannot exist in a system like that, his body just isn't cut out for it. I can't see us paying him €200k pw to be a filler in now and again. Ideally having someone of his experience and talent in the squad would be great but we aren't that flush unfortunately & might have to use those wages elsewhere.

Thiago leaving and the 30m we get for him being put with the 50m for Lavia and Tchouameni arriving instead
TAA then being told to feck off back to RB as Train set has things covered in the deeper role.

Coutinho all over again, thanks but we can do better!Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostWe need money to rebuild. He's a luxury. Let's try and offload him to Saudi before that stable door gets closed soon. Perfect chance to get cash to bring in fresh players.

Jota's appearance rate has been poor when looked at over three seasons too.
Gomez?
Konate? Two full seasons with us and his average is 15 league games a season.
If Thiago is a flop based on the amount of games he is playing per season since joining, then that makes a lot of our better players flops too.
To be fair, i think there is an argument for all of these
Hopefully Diaz was like a freak injury - like that time Pickford took out VVD. Also, hopefully Konate can get a season under his belt without major injury as with a really good run of games, i think he could be the best CB in the league.
However, if they don't next season, then there will definitely be qiestions.

Shifting the goalposts there a bit mate. All of them have comparable or worse league games per season records to Thiago.
What some of them might do in the future does not really matter. I could say that Thiago might have a fairly injury free season this coming season but that would be playing ifs and buts.
To clarify I do not think any of the players I names are flops, I was just pointing out that their track records in terms of game time is as bad as that of Thiago and I would argue that the likes of Diaz was brought in with high expectations.

Yeah it'll be our 3rd timeOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostHave you done it before? It’s really good. We’ve been twice, your lad will love it. I genuinely think it will be amazing to see the new stand under development.
By the sounds of things you should feel free to deliver a few motivational rockets to any construction staff you see :handshake.

Does that then get followed by a game of dodge the falling bricks and tools?
