Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Strange that we don't actually know the nature of his injury.

The challenge was nasty but early reports just said "not as bad as first feared".. Since then, he's been due back in full training for weeks on end.

Exactly. That was why I asked the question. All seems very murky to me.

We've been here many times before. Clearly he's hooked up with the club coke dealer that so many of our other mysteriously injured players were friendly with.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Got a feeling we won't see him until January.

In fairness to Thiago, not everyone wouldn't understand a Scottish accent under a mask!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I'd be a lot happier if the club were just a bit clearer on what his actual injury is. It's cases like this, where they almost give the impression that they don't appear to know what's wrong, which are a real concern. A bit like Kewell's "sports hernia" malarky that took an age to diagnose. I'm not saying he's a sicknote or anything, just that this vagueness is worrying.

Bit strange alright that the specifics of the injury have not been made clear at all.

I know what you mean, it's the not knowing that's the hard part. This does seem to be their stance since Klopp came in though..weeks and months can go by without any real explanation as to why players are out. The ones that spring to mind are Shaqiri, Matip, Lovren, Clyne..I'm sure there must be more?

See, of those the only one I think they were really vague on was Clyne. He just fell off the radar with no info. Lovren had stomach muscle problems, Matip was dipped in tea for too long and Shaqiri has recurring muscle problems caused by the gravitational pull exerted by his calf muscles. Feels like more of a worry with Thiago because he looked so good in his cameos so far. Dunno, just want him back and not to be made of biscuits!

Personally I think Thiago is fit and well, we're just trying to make the league a bit more interesting this year. Don't want the league wrapped up too early do we

Someone should have told City that was the plan then, as they seem to be ballsing it up at their end!

Seriously, I just hope he comes back fit and able to play back to back games with some regularity. The term "Rolls Royce footballer" was almost meant for him.
