    Klopp:

On that day when Thiago got injured in that challenge in the Everton game, there was another bad injury [to Virgil van Dijk] and after the scans it was like one was really bad news and the other one was really good news because nothing was broken, nothing was ruptured and stuff like this.

“But, as we realise now, it was still a massive impact on the knee. The problem is in a situation like that, nothing is ruptured and nothing is broken and that means everybody thinks, ‘OK, you can go after a few days’, but the impact on the leg was that big that it is still not OK.

“It is not massive and he trains from time to time, not in the moment because we just have to realise that we have to go a few further steps. I can’t say exactly when he will be fine, but it will take a few weeks still with Thiago.”
    Are we winning?

Don't want to go all tinfoil hat, but the club set this up and it never happened. What's that all about?

It’s incredibly frustrating and yet hard to quantify the extent of our loss as we’ve seen so little of him since he joined. The old “he’ll feel like a new signing when he’s back” adage will feel doubly true because he actually is! If he comes back sound this will all be forgotten but I’m starting to get a bad feeling about this injury. Fingers crossed he’s back soon.

If nothing is broken and no ligaments are damaged then i just don't understand why he's been out so long. A bone bruise doesn't take this long to heal.

The clubs silence on what the actual injury is speaks volumes IMO, its just continually "Thiago is still not ready" something is very weird in all this.

The worrying thing is he’s not even in rehab, so must still be on the treatment table.

That record breaking 2nd half against Chelsea where he ran the show feels like it was a dream now. We've been robbed of a special, special player

If he returns in Jan and stays fit for the rest of the season we win the league and champions league double IMO.

Let’s hope so. Like a lot of people here, am still bitter about this. Feel like an Everton fan must.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

We arent doing bad without him. But. Having him laying in the big Euro and Prem games will be massive.

                          What a night.

Does he mean he’s gonna be back soon? If that’s the case, happy days

Pearce and the Sunday World guy who keeps linking us players have both said they've heard Thiago back by end of December is on the cards.
