With a fully fit squad, no issues, but on the basis that our physio room is like a Somme dressing station it seemed utterly bizarre

He could have got injured in any game though. It’s a moot point now.

Playing players who are overloaded and at risk of fatigue injuries is madness.

But losing a fit player to an impact injury is just bad luck.

How did it happen, I can't remember?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

So why not minimise the risk by reducing unnecessary exposure?
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I agree but the forward line is where we had cover and they’ve been rotated plenty......this isn’t one I blame on fatigue

He got kicked a couple of times during the game. He kind of held his ankle at some point and not too sure how it could have been a knee issue.

I don’t know, there’s a medical department which advises Klopp. Maybe the club needed the money?

I think the best way to avoid injuries is to go out there and play your game. You can’t wrap players in cotton wool, they need to play games to increase their fitness levels and be managed when they’re in the red zone and Jota sat out the previous game vs Wolves so it’s not as if he was overplayed.

                      Diogo Jota

To be fair to Klopp, he did rest players who needed resting. Gini, Matip, Hendo and Robbo didn’t start the game. Robbo wouldn’t have played a minute if Tsimikas could have finished the game. Again, this is one who’s hardly played and got himself injured on his return.

No I’m not blaming it on fatigue at all. Jota looked uncomfortable after an awkward tackle late on. I’m assuming that’s when it happened.

My point is, if Jota got himself injured playing against Fulham, would that be a case of mismanagement as well? He was rested vs Wolves.

Even City played with some regulars in a game which was irrelevant.

The ref for that game was utter ****e, never gave us anything and allowed them to boot our players everywhere.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
