It wasn't s bad decision for Tsimikas to play. Because he is returning from injury and needed the minutes. Same with trent and Keita.

For me, most of the rest of the squad shouldn't have even travelled. A loss or a draw had no impact. It was a silly risk and for a manager who has publicly complained about the fixture congestion, it was pretty stupid. And it looks like we have paid the price.

The people who say "oh he could have got. Injured at Fulham or in training" that is a stupid point to make. The players have played a lot of football. A week with no midweek fixture would have helped going into a busy December. For me, if we drop points against either fulham or spurs, then this could potentially have been helped by having fresher players.

Silly choice playing too many first reamers against Midgeland

          Yes if.

It's about risk management; you're not unintelligent I don't know why I'm having to explain this to you.

(Well actually I do because you're being purposefully obtuse as usual )

The point I was trying to put across about Tsimikas is that it doesn't take players to play a lot of games to get themselves injured. Him now being out, still stops us from rotating Robbo in the immediate future, with Milner also out, so it doesn't solve anything long term not playing Robbo for that game for example. It's a bit of a lottery no matter how you put it.

We made 8 changes mid-week, which is the usual ratio of player/reserves for a game such as this.

There is a rationale to playing Tsimikas. Because he needed minutes to get match fitness. Same with trent and Keita. There was a rationale to playing Minamino and Origi in a meaningless game too. Because they've not played a lot of football and it could help with their form.

It was crazy playing Robbo, Fabinho, Matip, Henderson, Firmino, Salah, jota and mane. None of these should have even travelled.

We have 25 players registered to play in the CL and 5 or more are already injured, if you remove those 7 out of the equation we send a squad of 12/14 players to play that game? Already this is not feasible.

This could be massive. How many points has he secured for us so far when the others haven't come to the party? Bobby needs to start scoring.

                    Incorrect . . .

According to Pepe in the Ajax post match thread:

In addition to the named 25 man squad, you also get an unlimited B list of U21 players. We've currently got about a dozen on ours, including a few of the lads who played last night. Curtis Jones, Neco and Rhys.

Not too sure it’s as simple as that as pretty sure you can’t do this on a whim for no valid reasons (like resting a few key players). From the UEFA website.

                      Can clubs register new players?

Yes, teams can register a maximum of three new 'List A' players. But there are a couple of caveats:

                      Each squad is still limited to 25 List A players (players can be removed to make room);
Players must have been already registered and eligible to play for the club at domestic level since 3 February or in any case by no later than before the first leg of the round of 16 as initially scheduled for the relevant team.
Let’s leave it at that please.

                        That’s A list regulations, Fredo.

The B list is unlimited and additions can can be submitted as late as the day before a game.

Unfathomable decision from Klopp to risk front-line players in a meaningless game, especially with our current injuries.

Yeah. Dropped a bollock there for sure.

It could have further repercussions as well.
