Bobby still has a massive role to play for us; we cannot write him off too soon.

I hope he stays & signs a new contract, however i am concerned he will be sold to offset purchases. And yeah he has a boss song, so we need to keep him, hahaha

We have more strength in depth in Mane’s position than we do in Bobby’s. Mane would likely have more takers and would bring in more money for us than Bobby too.

There’s also Origi and Taki’s potential departures to add in as well.
Mane could play through the middle, Firmino can't play out wide. Mane has also been a regular in the side throughout the last 18 months Firmino hasn't. For that reason I think he is the likeliest one to leave first.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Where do you think Bobby fits in? Salah is a nailed on starter, Jota is making himself undroppable. He's probably 5th choice. If those two are the mainstays of the front three then the options are:
        Mane Jota Salah
        Diaz Jota Salah
        Jota Firmino Salah

For me the first two are better options.

I think the fact that we play a ****-ton of matches every year means that this way when we rotate the first XI remains incredibly strong.

Historically we haven't rotated the front three much, not sure if that is because of lack of quality backup or what. But we had Salah playing the other night after the huge amount football at the ACN despite having Jota, Firmino and Diaz.

Maybe, we have just signed a £50m player in Mane’s position though.

And we’ve never really used him through the middle before. Surprisingly, Bobby has played more games as a winger than Mane has as CF.

Can't disagree with that; but he has a role to play for sure, if we want to challenge on all fronts.

Its a great problem for Jurgen to have, the good thing is the run in to May now is insane, so all will get game time !!

2022/2023 Mo & Sadio are going to be flogged by club & country, with another Afcon & potentially a WC for them both. Jota, Bobby, Diaz will all be at the WC also (assuming Portugal get their act together); so next season we will without doubt need 5 world class attackers, which we have already recruited. Its a great position to be in TBF !

Just need to get contracts sorted & bloody quickly or all the above is a load of bollocks hahaha

So we have strength in depth up front at last and you want to sell that depth? It's Origi and Minamino that will go, not Firmino or Mane.

So new contracts for Bobby and Mane, as well as Salah then?
Otherwise they're going next year anyway.

If we don't give contracts to either of them, we'll have to replace them.
                      Are we winning?

You'd expect so, though we've arguably already just signed a replacement for one of them.

Although, if we're in talks with Milner about an extension then all bets are off

If he can get a new deal then that puts a completely different perspective on Mane and Bobby's possible futures.

Arguably we've just enhanced our squad depth.

If we’re renewing all of the famous front 3, then yes.

                              Otherwise, not so much.

Yeah I would - two year contracts for both, Salah with a four year contract.

                                Sell Origi and Minamino.

If we want to seriously compete for four trophies then we'll need a strong squad.

                                Midfield is next!
