          If you want to bring someone who can defend the box for 15 minutes to see a game out, he was perfect.

          In the season he did play, he made hardly any mistakes. He doesnt have the footballing ability of Joe Gomez, but he didnt **** the bed as Joe does on occassion.

          If he had a bit of pace, he would be as good as Maguire, without the tendency to play suicidal balls every halfhour.

          1m was shockingly cheap, imho.
