Nothing but good wishes for his career. I wonder if he'll grow a beard to show his alpha status as a no.1 keeper?

He deserved to go to a bigger team. You can bet the larger teams will come in for him after he performs next season. Because hes that good. 18 ****ing million. Thats an insult to him.

We only get 80% of the money too.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'd say we have a decent sell on clause though. Maybe 50% of any profit made.

Curious myself, getting regular game time can only be a good thing for him and the national side.

Leeds, Chelsea, Villa all need keepers absolutely shocked no-one else came in for him.

He just doesn't have the premiere league track record for a team challenging near the top. He's never done a season in professional football. I'm sure he's capable but it is seen as too big a risk, somewhat understandably.

All keepers do though and we only remember them because they're just so impactful when they do happen. You don't remember when Salah misses a sitter, especially.

I think he's a great keeper and if we didn't have Allison I don't think we'd be looking to replace him as a no.1, certainly not as a priority.
                      Really?

Yes all keepers drop clangers and the biggest compliment I can give to Kev is that when Ali was out we typically didn’t “miss” him. However, the club clearly didn’t think he could be the long term no 1, otherwise they wouldn’t have bought Mamardashvili.

Anyway, it’s moot….. all the best Kev

I suspect his agent has been in contact with lots of clubs over the last 12 months because it has been obvious he was going to leave, and he thinks Brentford is the best option of those who showed any interest. I'm surprised a really big team wasn't in for him, but maybe the fact they weren't explains why he stayed so long.

I wonder how he's feeling about the move now that Frank looks like he's on his way to Spurs?

Not sure he moved for the manager. He moved for the game time.

Can’t imagine it’s a shock to him, it’s surely something that would have been discussed.
