Yeah wasn't great but he's about as good a back-up as we could hope to have imo.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

he has **** all presence in the shoot out until he started moving about a bit, I'd be very disappointed if he ever makes it to first choice. Not sure what his level is at the moment

True, he could have done better for the first goal imo, needed a stronger hand. In fairness to him, was also open season on the goal in that first half, might aswell have had nobody playing in front of him. We need a decent back up imo he's that, let's be honest nobody is getting ahead of Alisson anytime soon.

I think GK performance cones fro the confidence given by the back 4, last night that back 4 was all over the place (unsurprising given the make up of it). Kelleher seems to perform much better in front of something more resembling a first choice back 4.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That seems generally true, but not sure it applies to basic **** stopping. Anyway, don’t want to be down on the guy, he hardly plays and did great in the shootout. We don’t want our backup up to be too good anyway or he’ll get ideas.

Could have done better on two of the goals (the first and third) but his pen saves were excellent. Great experience for him playing in that atmosphere.

I think that is harsh, particularly the first. The challenge was to get down fast enough to save it. They ae the ones De Gea goes for with his feet.

Are we writing him off after one poor game..... hahaha gotta love the internet.

We would have binned Alisson off by now if he had been a younger keeper with no track record

Kelleher is a perfect back up and he's had great games before. Having a club grown GK is worth a lot also in terms squad registration.

                            Played well today.

Got Trent out of jail at the start. Smart reflex save from Pulisic and made routine saves look routine.

He did well - he’s decent with the ball at his feet yet I don’t have confidence in him as a long term replacement for Ali. No idea why - the worst thing for him is that Bazanu (another young Irish keeper on City’s books) looks an absolute star in the making....... he won’t even get games internationally to get his experience

The save from the Trent error was world class.
