Sad news. It's a bit strange, but I was watching the season review of 2000/01 around a month ago, wondering how Heskey went from unstoppable to the worst finisher ever. Then thought we haven't heard about Houllier for some time and I'm surprised his health has held together so long... Guess I was wrong, huh? Also watched a recent [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIAWEWtPb2o"]Sean Dundee interview [/ame], where he's discussed at length.
His legacy will always be a bit polarising but he took the decisions, popular or not, for what he believed to be the greater good. Very important figure in Liverpool's modern history.
