Jota is the type of player who can be anonymous or awful for 85mins then pop up with a goal or two. Gakpo is a much better all round player, as much as we need the goals I think the link up play is more important, in getting our game up and running. I think Klopp recognises the value of Gakpo and that's why he's in midfield at the moment (we need him on the pitch somewhere) IMO Gakpo has been much less impactful there so will be moved up front when midfield is sorted and Jota will likely be the one to miss out.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's lost some pace hasn't he? Don't get me wrong, not having a pop - he's had a good start to the season, he's making much better runs inside a la Mane and he's a nailed on starter, but I'm convinced he's lost some pace after the injury. He was absolutely rapid when he first game and that explosiveness seems to have gone.
                      Thanks very much for being

It's weird, I don't ever recall him being rapid. He's got quick feet and is rapid of the mark, but I don't remember him ever applying the afterburners and leaving people for dead. But maybe I just compare him to Mane too much in that regard?

Maybe it's just me/my memory but I feel like he scorched away from defenders much more readily than he is doing now.

Still, I fancy him for 15 this season. He's got that LW slot nailed down.

He's a decent player but I just haven't warmed to him. Maybe it's his eyebrows and eyes which scream "I'm going to kill you!"
