Yeah, I think what goes unnoticed is he's generally running at warp speed to get on the end of these through balls or just made a lung bursting run from our half to catch up to the play etc. Its hard to hit balls cleanly when youre going full throttle.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostHe almost wants it too badly. Isn't this basically the problem Rafa had with Gerrard that he felt he played too much with his heart and not enough with his head?Originally posted by Buzzo View PostHe almost wants it too badly. We don't want him to lose that edge... but. If it meant him getting a few more goals it is worth it, he is a confidence player. He needs to channel it - he works so much harder than Haaland, but obvs gets so many fewer goals.
If he can kick on over Christmas and NY, then.... ANYTHING is possible for us this season.
He is 'almost' scoring so many screamers. He needs one to pop in off his arse or something to get going. The shot he hit the bar with was an absolute missile.Modifying post.

So Nunez is the only player who has to run to get involved in scoring chances?Originally posted by Harv View PostYeah, I think what goes unnoticed is he's generally running at warp speed to get on the end of these through balls or just made a lung bursting run from our half to catch up to the play etc. Its hard to hit balls cleanly when youre going full throttle.

Running at breakneck speed might account for a couple of instances, but there’s plenty that were nothing to do with the speed he was travelling at - the scuffed mis-hit yesterday, the close range sitter vs Luton, one vs West Ham, another vs Leicester in the League Cup.
I think it’s in his head. We’ve seen he has the finishing ability to score all kinds of goals. He just seems to panic at the last second sometimes which results in him smashing the shot, usually off the goal frame, or fluffing it completely.
If he had ice in his veins he’d be unstoppable..

It was his lovely pass which sent Szobo on his way, when he got fouled for the 1st.Originally posted by Scratch View PostIs it worth pointing out that our 3rd and 4th goals today were in no small part helped by Nunez? The third with a nicely cushioned header to Salah who layed it off to Endo, and the 4th when he was alive to the Gakpo shot to lift the ball back into the danger area where it fell to Trent?
Poor performance overall, but as always, he's always involved and making things happen. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Heard that about you...Originally posted by Harv View Posti like the braids instead of the bun thing he had
The topknot is better for accuracy.
An undercut is too Voronin. Need some whispy bits or you lose the spideysense.
Bleaching it would be the way to go. Fowler was at his best as a blonde. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Why's everyone over thinking every single thing he does. Just let him form his own path, he's playing well for me. Yes he misses some chances but he's working his arse off and the goals will come in time so I'm not worried in the slightest.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. Most are not, most are just attempting to point out positive and negative aspects of his game. The things he is good at, the things he needs to improve on, what he excels at, what he doesn't. This really should be an easy, balanced and rational conversation & for some reason it's not.Last edited by danperkins; 05-12-23, 01:22 PM.

It’s really only his finishing that’s getting scrutinised, not everything else.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostWhy's everyone over thinking every single thing he does. He’s impacting games, but he needs to start putting these chances away.
