Good read that. Gives insight into a player I have barely seen play!Originally posted by red g View PostHave to agree, And although Youtube can make anyone look good, You can find some real horror shows of his control on Youtube too! I do foresee some Sterling type misses this season.
This was a great article on why he was so rated before we bought him

A great cameo, his movement and the positions he takes up are brilliant. Massive pressure off with that goal, assist too for pen and should scored the one vs one too. Not bad for half an hour or so. Night and day difference than Bobby in that position.Last edited by danperkins; 30-07-22, 07:23 PM.

loved how much he celebrated the goal and the win.
He looks desperate to impress, and at times that is making him a little over eager, but in terms of work rate and attitude that was a great 45. He will get chances and will score goals.
No way would everyone be talking up Nunez if he had played the game Haaland did. Given the obvious comparison between the two that was a great match for him.Modifying post.

it's that Uruguayan drive to win. When he starts scoring regularly imo it ll all flow from there. Would absolutely start him vs Fulham.

I like how we controlled the game with Bobby on, but even though City got back into it 2nd half, we were more clinical with Nunez. Small sample size, but it's what we are hoping will happen. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I thought we were sharper than City in the first half, they looked like they had only played that one pre season match. We seemed to fade away in the mid part of the game and they came back into it a bit. When Nunez came on we got the next level of movement and pace, looked so much more dangerous with Nunez as oppose to Bobby.Last edited by danperkins; 30-07-22, 07:39 PM.
