Also ( incase anyone is still oblivious to how ****ing **** our side has been this season ) our midfield has been horrendous. Maybe in a functional side we're confidence levels are normal then you might see him in a better light.
The bigger problem is Mo and how ****ing **** he is"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Anyone writing him off on the back of this car crash of a season is a ****ing moron.Originally posted by ric.williams View Postthe whole team has been awful all year so not the easiest time to find your feet. bit early to be writing him off.
see how he goes in a fully functioning side and then maybe make a decision. Theres been enough moments to show he's a good player."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

i think anyone raising concerns on his finishing is fair to do so but i think in previous seasons we'd have created far more opportunities to score and it'd be a complete non-issue.Originally posted by Harv View PostAnyone writing him off on the back of this car crash of a season is a ****ing moron.

plus look on the bright side. he's not continually offside any more!!

Still repeating the same old **** s though it will suddenly change. What the **** are you expecting? Him to become Messi? Youre deluded man
well by that measure it matters more than ever now for him to score goals, you absolute trout. Ffs, I just read your Salah post, or all 700 or them about how **** he is. Only problem with what you are spouting is, he is still scoring goals!!! He was ****e today but he still scored.
Nunez is not good technically and he does show a lack of composure but like many times in this thread you also fail acknowledge any positives of what I say about him or that I am saying he is playing in a dysfunctional side... which luckily for me are there for others to read. I know he's a handsome dude but put away that little boner of yours.Last edited by danperkins; 09-04-23, 10:39 PM.

Hang on. Is trout an insult these days? And why?
What about gudgeon, bream or tench?
Are game fish less of an insult than coarse fish? Where do salt water fish rate on the insult scale (hehe scale).I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I don't like personally insulting people on forums, I try to refrain as it goes nowhere. I'm just back from Wales it's an expression over there in the valleys. I actually laughed when I typed it
I actually think it's used to describe an ugly old slutty woman. I burst out laughing when I heard wife say it, so I thought I would bring it to the Darwin thread as Harv is frankly a rude angry guy/girl.Last edited by danperkins; 09-04-23, 11:16 PM.

If only we’d had Darwin back then eh?
What a load of nonsense. Those three were the reason we created so many chances. They weren’t just hanging about tapping them in.Modifying post.

Looked quite composed to me, got the ball out from under his feet, tried to slot it under Ramsdale and it was a good save to keep it out.Originally posted by danperkins View PostZero composure, terrible technically but will score some goals with his pace and movement... Still saying exactly the same things about him. Jury is still out on him as we've been all over the shop this season but I just can't help thinking that he needs several chances to score and looks like a bit of a carthorse sometimes, his first touch is ****ing shocking. See how he goes next season but have been disappointed in him.
Also, not seeing it with his first touch either, seems fine to me...he had a few bad touches in his first handful of games but I put that down to just being too eager to get going, but since then he's been fine.

That's fair enough. I see him as raw, excitable, lacking composure, heavy first touch and a bit headless on times. I also recognize his physical attributes and the state of the current side. Imo he missed a sitter in a crucial game, at a crucial time. These things happen but it did happen. We'll see next season, certainly not writing him off but if you want to be a star for LFC, it comes with big expectations especially after the big fee. Hopefully a good pre season and few new players see him transformed.Originally posted by Scratch View PostLooked quite composed to me, got the ball out from under his feet, tried to slot it under Ramsdale and it was a good save to keep it out.

Apart from height and pace, he is bang average.
He doesnt have the agility to go past players when wide. he cant play with his back to goal or turn with the ball.
His shooting is subpar. His passing isnt much better and struggles to get into positions where he can damage the opposition with his pace while on the ball. He does seem to find space to run into off the ball... but has wasted far too many chances when he breaks through.
He is not much better than Cisse or Benteke, and neither of those are top tier, albeit they can be effective if the team plays to their strengths. And I feel.this is where the problem is. His pace is mostly useless when teams sit deep.I dont think he knows how to use it. Mane would rip defenders a new one even when playing poorly, bevauee he could run at pace and turn quickly with the ball. If you play him in the middle is has to be as a striker on yhe shoulder of the last defender. But our system uses a false nine.
Saying that... He could make a useful plan B... but he really jeeds to get his conversion rate up a bit.
I remember when we signed Crouch and a lot of people doubted, but I could see he had a decent touch and was combining well despite his drought. He finished with 59 goals and assists in 134 games, which was pretty good. Nunez actually has 18 in 36, which is statistically better... but I am not seeing the same qualities. His conversion rate is 15%, lower than Carvalho and Elliott.
Now I do think we should give him one more season, but if Diaz and Gakpo are fit then he shouldnt be getting games.
A more solid midfield should sort the defence out and start winning balls higher up the pitch again. He is very good in the air, but the supply of crosses from Trent has been distinctly lacking.
He may be able to score 30 in a good season, but he will never be top tier. I think the price tag is probably a bit of weighted expectation at a time we needed a new midfield instead. Also Diaz' injury meant he was thrown in at the deep end.
Hopefully next season will be better, either way.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

We are all hoping that next season he will explode.
But in reality he has been a big **** off disappointment. What I find weird is that the crowd love him. I was at the crystal palace game when he headbutted their defender and the stands were cheering his name as he went down the tunnel. The clown just cost us the game.
I think he is ****e. And possibly the reason Gakpo was bought too. For me, our best front 3 is Diaz, Gakpo, Salah.

I think in terms of goals per minute played he's not done badly, he's played about 2000 mins which equates to about 22 full (90 min) appearances and has 14 goals, he's been in and out of the side, played different roles and hasn't been part of a settled unit, from that point of view he's not been bad.
Yes his finishing isn't clinical, he has missed some sitters but if those improve he could have a great recordThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
