Darwin isn’t anywhere near our top five problems right now…

Salah mis-firing, missing pens and generally being woeful is higher.
As is the ease with which the defence is played through… out wide, single ball through the middle, not picking up their runners, medical staff that don’t seem to be picking up injuries quick enough resulting in much longer lay-offs… the list is a long one, but Darwin being **** definitely isn’t one of them.

People seem to be really quick to forget that Sadio was absolute turd in his last season for us…

Plenty of players have been ****e then turned in a good spell as they play for a move away. Xabi Alonso is one in particular that gets overlooked in that respect.

I remember Skrtel getting his arse handed to him on a plate against Havant and Waterlooville but then went on to have a good spell with us at the back. Plenty said Gakpo was **** in his first six games too… and he’s got obvious qualities.

Yet it’s frowned on somehow to call out Salah when he’s well off it, paid £300k a week and looks like he’s checked out for the remainder of the season.

I’m 100% sure Darwin will come good and he’s already shown glimpses of his strength, pace and finishing and whilst he’s not the finished article, he’s definitely got an x factor to his play.

We won't see anything near the best from Nunez until he is played down the middle and receives early balls to run onto. If we don't sign a midfielder that can feed him and we intend continuing as we are the club better do all they can to change Bobby's mind about leaving as we will be in trouble.

He'll get another season to prove himself and hopefully get players around him the can help get the best out of him but I don't think it's a surprise that many LFC fans are still on the fence about him.

He may get his devasting form back that he showed with Benfica, But like Lukaku he will always have his doubters as for the amount you paid you would hope he could control a ball a bit better
