Had one great chance and absolutely leathered it at Pickford. Missing clutch chances every game.

‘But Salah, but Salah’ we are bound to hear, and of course that is also a question. But two years in and our big money number 9 doesn’t win us games, misses too many chances and ultimately disappears.

Getting that goal against the run of play is a killer for opposition. We never do it, and Darwin is the main culprit.

Haven't changed my opinion on him since he got here. Will score some goals but technically awful and clearly you either have composure or you do not, it cannot be learned. If we want to ever win the league again or the champs league, we need better.

I’ve been a fan and backed him but after 2 seasons of the same thing I’m struggling to stay with him. He did hit that good patch and thought he’d turned a corner but a big decision needs to be made with Nunez.

You can definitely learn composure in front of the goal. The problem is after two years Nunez doesn't seem to be learning any lessons.

Personally I think you either have or you don't. Regards Nunez, agent of chaos or just a bit scatterbrained? Not good for us unfortunately.

Dunno why its taken so long. He has been like this since the start. His technique is just no good, and never has been.

Not sure what's happened to him. We know he can miss but he stopped working.

I think Owen was onto something here. Nunez seems to never want to score ugly goals. He wants to rip the net open, or do the spectacular.

Todays finish was the same as one of the chances v Palace. Rocket propelled connection but straight at the keeper. He is a blunt tool. Needs guile.

It’s down to composure. He has none.

I genuinely think when it comes down to it and the crunch, you just cannot learn that.

Absolutely - it's just repetition - but he repeatedly aims at the keeper like he has no peripheral vision. I know at a young age things that seem obvious to older people are not so obvious, so perhaps he doesn't get it but his trainers most surely do. What are they doing?

Strange but he had plenty of composure when he was scoring a hatrick against us for benfica.

You think? Watch Owen's left footed finish against Arsenal in the whatever year FA cup final and then watch his left foot before that period. The boy learned how to do that and it came naturally. Composure is just repetition - muscle memory if you like.

That’s just it though, he’s got the odd worldie game in him. That’s what got him the move. It’s consistency that he lacks. Doing nothing much all game but still scoring for a one nil win he doesn’t really do that.

                                He looks short on confidence.
