He is very much an Amorim type front man and the attacking set up he thrived in at Benfica is very similar to that which Amorin uses at Sporting.


Have a feeling that Amorim will build his attack around Darwin, at first anyway. Think who plays just behind Darwin would be key but could see Amorim trying it for the first half of next season anyway.

I mean, he is CRAP, a lot of the time. But I dont think he gets the blame. Other better players are just as crap at the moment.

Our forward line needs a lot of work, as the players are not suited to this system, imho. Needpace on both sides and the midfle player to drop deep and help the midfield, while being able to hold the ball up. Obviously things will change anyway
