Said it in the match thread, ****ing dumb it was. It's just him, he' a head banger. He won't be here next season, just hoping he can do some positive things before he leaves. Clearly i'm no fan of him but a goal and an assist, can't complain.

The attempted tackle was clumsy/stupid, but for my money all that matters about his performance yesterday is that he scored the goal that got us back into the game and then won a penalty that helped towards securing the win.

The bad tackle cost us nothing and is (not by you) just a stick for podcasters and pundits to beat Nunez with.


For all the knocks he is getting, he is building up a list of important contributions this season.

The Brentford game, the PSG game and this one sporing to mind straight away.

I couldn’t believe the outrage over no red card for that Nunez challenge when I finally saw it.
The swing of his boot doesn’t make contact with either ball or player, it’s the contact from his standing leg that brings the player down.

A foul and a yellow, but never, not even close, to a red.

Clearly not a red, watching that, and though I was expecting him to be hooked at half time, he turned the game around for us in the second half

You can see hes looking at the ball. Just his leg was a bit slow to get there. **** effort to take the ball, zero in it. If he wanted to take the guy down on purpose we've seen him do stuff far more vicious and solid than that. Meanwhile we get a player who purposely turns on ours, solid eblow to the eye, and not a word said.
