Chris Benoit dead

It's quite distrurbing really, he apparantly murdered his wife on Friday by strangling her with an electrical chord and murdered his 7 year old son on Saturday by smothering him with a plastic bag before hanging himself the following day.

He was obviously insane. No way a sane man would do that to his wife and son.

- Lt. Pope: WWE called police officials at 2:30PM on Monday over concern for Benoit’s well being. Police found all three bodies in the home. “Double Homicide Suicide” is the official ruling.

- It appears Benoit killed his wife on Friday, his son shortly after, and likely hanged himself either late Saturday night or early Sunday.

- No suicide note was left behind.

- Asphyxiation is the official ruling for Benoit’s wife and son deaths.

- Benoit was previously arrested for a DUI.

- A lot of prescription medication was found in the home, legal prescriptions.

- Police found anabolic steroids in the home.

- No comment from police regarding a possible motivation.

- He killed himself several hours, but no more than a day, after killing son Daniel.

- Daniel was found in an upstairs bedroom. Benoit’s wife was also found in an upstairs family room, and Benoit hung himself in the weight room in the basement.

- The toxicology reports are still pending. It will probably take more than two weeks for the reports to be finished.

- Benoit apparently called WWE stating that Daniel was coughing up blood, thus likely the “personal reasons” for missing weekend house shows.

I don't think the motivation or events surrounding what happened will ever be truely know, I think steroids does **** you up and they were found at his home but I don't think anyone can comprehend what would drive a man to murder both his wife and his son. Tragic

The guy deserves to burn in hell for eternity for murdering his son, his wife I could forgive, but not his son...come on, thats ****ing ****ed up.....his ****ing son must have idolised his dad and the thanks he gets is suffocation? ****er...bring him back to life so I can kill him again. Can you imagine what his poor son went through? If they're saying the wife was killed first on the Friday then the son the next day. Horrific.

Having kids changes your whole ****ing outlook and point of view when it comes to things like this, kill another adult and I can see why(you know what I mean)...i.e you hate the bitch, she cheated on you, million and 1 reasons. No problem.

Funnily enough had the exact same conversation with a taxi driver in Greece. I'm not a dad myself but everyone says the same - once you have kids you look at life in a completely different way.

People who are willing to do that to their own kids are obviously not right in the head. They're sick basically. I just wonder what it was that led him to this state. Drugs, pressure, stress, paranoia? Who knows?

I don't think the facts will ever be known 100% but I believe steroids have side effects like aggression, paranoid behavoir, delusions and severely impaired judgement

It was said to me before I had kids and it really is true!
Its weird, but in a good way.
The guy was obviously ****ed up in the head but I wonder how much pressure the drugged up **** was under to keep in shape, do this, do that by his employer. Not that thats an excuse.
I had a mate who loves wrestling phone me earlier, said how sad he was that his "hero" was dead....I said id go over and suffocate his daughter then see how ****ing sad he was. Misplaced loyalty or what?!
