There are atheletes who could never make the gains they wanted without the intervention of scientists in chemistry labs helping them. There is very little sentiment for a job well done in sport these days. Sponsors want returns for their investments and governments still want ascendancy through sport. My crude point was that someone has to intervene on your behalf to help you make the gain, much the same as the development of Viagra for men who couldn't perform.

Sure but the latter is cheating nature, old age or ill-health while the former is cheating (hopefully) honourable competitors.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

You wouldn't believe the numbers of lads who use Viagra to enhance their performance. We're not talking the intended patients here.

For a second answer I don't believe that any competitor who lines up for a track or field event at the Olympics or major meet is completely drug free. They will all be at differing stages of their cycles and some more apparent than others. The risk must be worth taking for most.

I could never understand how it could do that. I probably missed the point but if you can already get a decent boner how will Viagra improve performance in the sack?

Sadly true. Look at the Tour de Farce.

Apparently you can bang away for an immensely long time. Not that I'm interested, I get bored after a few minutes anyway, unless she's a real livewire.

Drugs have been around for years, its just lately in the last number of years that Sports federation and scientific procedures have been developed
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

That definately does not leave everyone on the same playing field. Infact, with a Lottery win, I could enter the 100m and give Linford Christie the finger as I trot passed him
In what way is that different to the fact that in football the most money buys the best players on a moral basis?

I'm not really for drugs in sport but surely it's the easiest way to enjoy watching cricket.

                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Which would you recommend and are their significant differences between the one day and test match drugs of choice?

I think Shaggy's the man to ask there.

I tend to find drug use a distasteful idea but I'm not sure there is a very solid practical/factual basis for my opinion.
well if you legalised drugs in sport then the only way a sportsperson could ever prosper is by forcing tons of **** into their bodies.

no doubt every parent would then dread having a sporty son or daughter.
