Yeah, on the whole it has been decent but the UK crowds have really helped, they always do well over here and it improves their overall production. Spud and EC3 had a surprisingly good match the previous week and Ashley - Angle was predictably good. Also Drew Galloway (McIntyre) signed and delivered a couple of really good arrival promos, really looked like a star; hopefully he kicks on.
I do think they have cut back on a lot of the outright ****ery and the show has benefited from it; most of the booking has been relatively logical and with the exception of the ridiculous Revolution group (worst stable since Immortal) the shows are mostly featuring their best talent so I'm happy enough to keep watching.
Yeah, I've heard about the EC3 v Spud bloodbath. Apparently Joe and Aries was good too, besides the finish. Certainly better TV than what Raw and Smackdown is by the sound of things. Not heard great things about the commentary though.
Certainly makes the main event more interesting on Sunday. Shame we wont get to see Lesnar do his thing again though. He was phenomenal in the few fights he had (except for after his illness)

Think its quite an exciting card. I can remember previous years where most of the matches apart from 2/3 were thrown together in the last 2 weeks.
The top 5 you have mentioned all have been going for around 2 months minimum. Interest is strong here, regardless of what its been like building up.
Is it a Wrestlemania card? Hmm, not sure.
The sad news is of course the death of Perro Aguayo Jnr. Tributes at a lot of the shows and they'll probably continue into the indy shows this week in San Jose.
Apparently the Angle v Lashley title match was good on Impact this week. Mr Michael - been watching it since the move to Destination America?
Ladder match has the potential to entertain but it is a waste of the likes of Bryan, Ambrose, and Ziggler imo. Those three should be used in 1 v 1 bouts
Divas match = piss break
Andre's royal rumble = misfits and rejects = dull.
Would have put Sting and Taker together. The match itself would be nothing special technically, but the build could have been awesome and if done right then in ring stuff could have been enhanced with run ins etc
Seth Rollins I would have liked to have seen against one from Ziggler/Bryan/Ambrose. Ok maybe not all that original but you would get an eye catching and entertaining match.
Intercontinental Ladder Match
Bad News Barrett v Dean Ambrose v Daniel Bryan v Dolph Ziggler v R Truth v Stardust v Luke Harper
Andre The Giant Battle Royal
AJ & Paige v The Bellas
So it looks like Mania has been booked. The four team tags match is again on the pre show. Sucks to be the Usos, considering they've had a decent year in a division of nothingness.
I don't think McMahon being on Austin's podcast was a reaction to Punk. IIRC, there was a PPV or a Raw and it was announced that he was on the following week. Punk and Colt's podcast came out on Thanksgiving and McMahon was on the following Monday so it had to be addressed by Austin. I don't think Austin pressed the issue enough with either Triple H or McMahon because you could tell, both were clearly bull****ting about firing him on his wedding day and them not having any issues with him.
Yep McMahon was given a very easy time of it by Austin, and I think that you will only see McMahon on podcasts that toe the party line and that do not ask him any questions that he has not given the ok on.
The wedding day thing was utter bull****. Not a chance that they did not know what they were doing and that they did not know it was Punk's wedding day. Hell the woman he was marrying is a WWE employee who had to book the time off for the wedding and honeymoon so even harder for them not to know the date.
McMahons podcast was announced about 3 weeks before Colts came out. I dont think it was a reaction thing either, as Stone Cold had talked about working on something with the WWE for a while before hand.
WWE asked Austin to do the show rather than vice versa. They were doing the free month on the Network in November and needed people to subscribe and watch for the month and make it worthwhile for fans besides just having the Survivor Series on that month.
