    F1 or football not both

i was at work today and we were having our usual debate about football there were about 20 people sat around it being break time and i noticed that all the grand Prix lovers didn't like football and vice versa is that right or was it freak one off, for the record i don't like motor racing.

I used to like F1. Then the race where Schumacher won when Barricello had to let him win on the line happened. Completely ruined the sport for me - especially the attitude of Ecclestone etc. to the fans who felt cheated out of a fair race.

The fact that Ferrari are the official test team for the organisers does nothing to help me feel good towards it either.

          I am like this too

Just got into it recently after soo many years. I was a fan when all I had in my house were the terrestrial channels and Hakkinen, Coulthard, Schuey, Fishecella, Villenueve were racing.

I love footy and used to love F1 in the days of Senna, Mansell, Prost and Damon Hill - when it was proper racing. Now it is just as exciting as watching paint dry.

Now I think you are confusing it with horse racing.

Same here, I used to quite like F1 but it really is quite dull most of the time.

F1 is crap. How anyone can sit and watch 40-70 or however many laps it is..............
And anyway most of the cars lose before the race even starts because they can't compete with the supercars

I started watching back in the days of Senna, Prost, Mansell et al, wasnt hugely into it but it did get me into it in time to really enjoy the Shumacher, Hill, Coulthard, Hakkinnen battles. That was great racing and I loved to hate Schumacher simply like I did with Sampras, Hendry and anyone else who was miles ahead of their respective competition. I must admit to falling out of love with F1 over the past 4 seasons and it was only last season I started back watching 99% of them, its definitely down to Hamilton too, its good to see a british driver doing well.
There needs to be changes for sure but its nowhere as bad as a lot of people make out.

I love cars but think F1 is pretty **** to be honest. I went to Silverstone a few times though and whilst the atmosphere was good, the races were still ****.

I used to like watching F1 during the days of Aryton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell & Damon Hill. But lost interest once Schumacher dominated the sport too much.
