I used to like F1. Then the race where Schumacher won when Barricello had to let him win on the line happened. Completely ruined the sport for me - especially the attitude of Ecclestone etc. to the fans who felt cheated out of a fair race.
The fact that Ferrari are the official test team for the organisers does nothing to help me feel good towards it either."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I am like this tooOriginally posted by Darth Marty View PostI love Liverpool, football in general and am a big fan of F1.
Just got into it recently after soo many years. I was a fan when all I had in my house were the terrestrial channels and Hakkinen, Coulthard, Schuey, Fishecella, Villenueve were racing.

Same here, I used to quite like F1 but it really is quite dull most of the time.Originally posted by tufty View Postcan't get into F1 but enjoy and been to watch both touring cars and WRCI could not dig, I dared not rob:

I started watching back in the days of Senna, Prost, Mansell et al, wasnt hugely into it but it did get me into it in time to really enjoy the Shumacher, Hill, Coulthard, Hakkinnen battles. That was great racing and I loved to hate Schumacher simply like I did with Sampras, Hendry and anyone else who was miles ahead of their respective competition. I must admit to falling out of love with F1 over the past 4 seasons and it was only last season I started back watching 99% of them, its definitely down to Hamilton too, its good to see a british driver doing well.
There needs to be changes for sure but its nowhere as bad as a lot of people make out.
