Would love to attend the Ryder Cup one day, the most passionate/exciting weekend of golf in the calender.

Absolutely mate, I can still remember The Belfry in 2002, watching it over the weekend was like watching a fantastic thriller, you didn't know what was going to happen next and what the eventual outcome was going to be......... Pure Theatre

its in wales next not far away
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

aye would be good, tho i hear it's meant to be a bit of nightmare to watch/attend - it's not like the open were you can wander round, loads going on plenty of matches to watch etc. Apparently the crowds are so heavy and there is like only 4 or 5 games to watch, it's meant to be hell to get near any of them
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

My parents went over to Ireland to attend the last one as VIP guests of my uncle (he's MD of DHL Ireland) - they had the time of their lives.

All day it would just be a reptition of the following to phrases (particularly when in America):

                "GET IN THE HOLE!"

                "YOU THE MAN!"

and add in the old "WOOOOOOOOOOO!"s and it would surely do any sane person's head in.

get 4 tickets for ryder cups as long as i apply 2 years in advance - down side is you would have to attend as one of my guests and the beer aint cheap if you hear what im saying...

walking round the course is a nightmare - go watch a few matches then head for the village big screens beer and at least you get to see some of the action

thats what i've been told too - a lot of people expect it to be like the open which is great, loads going, obv the bigger cards attract the crowds but there is so many good matches and players on show that you can wander round and watch who u want, or chill out and have beers etc etc - ryder cup is meant to be mayhem

Anyone know what time (over here) play will be taking place? I wanna watch the whole session on Sunday - I'm hoping it's sort of late afternoon through to the evening.
