yeah fair enough - see i a vaguely recall seve - i know he was a legend, and remember a few good things - but mostly him being in the rough haha faldo was more my era, esp as it was just as i was getting into golf big

On a side note - when i was around 14/15 - one of my mates i played golf with sadly died aged 14 with cancer of the eye - terrilbe terrible thing and i still think of him everyday - this lad was born with cancer, was blind in one eye and struggled with the other - he played off 6 and was 13/14!!! he was great fun, and took it all in his stride - a few things i remember - playing on our seventeen, long par four, in a team match, and he hit his second shot straight at the flag from about 180yds - "were did that go" he enquired claiming he couldn't see the ball cause of his illness - "in the ****ing hole u *******" was my reply haha he didn't believe me and thought i was taking the piss cause he couldn't see! - to this day i reckon he knew he holed it

            - anyway, his dad, a ****ing great man a legend and a hero, organised and set up a memorial tournement which is played each year and is easyly the best tournement i have seen in amatuer golf - great day - anyway - pro golfers from all over the world have conrtibuted prizes - things like signed pink golfing trousers from poulter, too signed golf balls from vijay singh, limited edition drivers/putters/wedges from tour pros, contributions from faldo, westwood, clarke, norman, just unbelievable bits of golfing memrobilia - one year me and my dad won the auction for a signed glove from seve ballaesteros! - well smart, in this white presentation box and we got it for about £60!!! - it was one of many things in the auction, my dad said he wanted it, and it was one of the first things up, everyone was saving the money for some off the bigger/more impressive prizes - me and me dad happily settled for our bargain seve glove - iirc there was a ryder cup tour bag signed by the european team!

Europe 1 up after the first hole!

Didn't know Fanny Sunesson was still around - she's Henrik Stenson's caddy. Wonder if Cap'n Faldo will find the time to bone her.
