****, he's just retired as I was watchingA 'prime' Lesner would have struggled against Overeem. Lesner did very well considering his very limited skill set.

I'm not sure it would've been as easy as you make out. In his prime, Brock could move across the octagon with incredible speed and take his opponent down into his world and we didn't see that side of him. He looked a shadow of his former self.
There's no doubt that Overeem is an incredible striker but there are many great fighters who have struggled to make the transition to the UFC. Should be a great fight against Dos Santos though.

Lesnar has never shown anything in MMA to have deserved the fast track he got to the top of the sport because of who he was rather than how he good he actually is. Fantastic Amateur wrestler and just a freak of a physical specimen but you should have to earn your way to the top, Dana White handed it to him on a plate and he just wasn't as good as the hype that surrounded him.

Dana White knows how to make money and is an excellent promoter. Brock Lesnar was a household name entering the UFC and thus Dana White pushed to the top of the bill and made the $$$$
I tend to agree with Suraez in that the Intestine disease has robbed Lesnar, we saw in Dos Santos vs Velasquez how difficult it is to come back after injury and beat top opposition.
Lesnar has bought interest to what was a poor heavyweight division and now there are 3 excellent competitors who could all be the top dog on any given day.We come not to play.

Yep, he'll be missed but there are enough top guys to cover the heavyweight division, his diverticulitis has definitely affected him both mentally & physicallyOriginally posted by Imy View PostDana White knows how to make money and is an excellent promoter. If you look at the guys he's faced in his short career his record is a pretty impressiveWe managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Excuse my French but he's a dirty cunt of a fighter. Far too fond of holding onto submission holds for just that little bit too long resulting in serious injury to his opponents. He's done it on at least two occasions that i know of both times after he's been told to break by the ref.Originally posted by meffin View Posthttp://www.stuartcooperfilms.com/the...uinho-ufc-142/
Nice mini documentary on the mentalist that is Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares- training for his upcoming fight. Seems a decent bloke
Surprised he's still in the UFC to be honest.
