BJJ just does not seem as scary as it once was within the world of MMA. Its still scary but most of the submissions I tend to see these days are in the later rounds when people are tired and in order to get to there these BJJ fighters need to stand with superior strikers for at least 2 rounds ... Damien Mania for me has never really been how should I say well impressive ...sure he used to just walk across the octogan .. take a few punches .. grab his opponent use his weight to take him to the ground, take there backs, pepper there faces and gradually get his arm under there chin and whallllaa

But these days most MMA fighters have utterly superb take down defence, wizards etc

was not impressed with that card ... which I think Dana also felt the same way .. amazing considering it was on FOX .. so far all of the FOX cards have left a lot to be desired

Anyone else hoping that Sonnen gets destroyed? He did absolutely nothing with his takedowns and his post match rant was utterly pathetic. Like Nicey said, he seems to think he is a WWE wrestler, the ****ing prick.

I think Anderson will destroy him, he will want revenge for the last time they fought, Sonnen has become a parody of himself, carrying fake titles to press conferences, coming up with these story lines that he will leave the UFC if he loses to Anderson Silva, he's so full of **** it is unreal.

By the way, there is no way on this earth that fight was 30-27 in Sonnens favour, I hope the UFC isn't going the same way as boxing.

Did you see Dana White tweeting that the Judge shouldn't be allowed too judge a MMA fight again?

I do like all of these Fox events. But it does rather dilute the PPV lineups.

I hadn't heard that, interesting. I thought it was close but I would have given it to Bisping as I thought he controlled the fight and didn't let him do anything with his ground game, in fact I think Bisping landed more when on the deck even though he wasn't in control (in theory).

Strange how much love Bisping generally gets from both Joe Rogan and Dana White. I don't think he comes across particularly well even though I was supporting him but he seems to have quite the fan club.

I think Sonnen less drugs is not as scary a prospect as he was on the angle dust

Bisping is a hell of a dick-head. He was flipping off the fans at the weigh in apparently. His sponsors came out and apologised and said they wouldn't be working with him again.

I watched him at the O2 for UFC75 against Matt Hamill. Hamill should have won, but as it was a home fight they gave it too Bisping. He celebrated like he won with a knock-out when they announced it. I can honestly say to this day Ive not seen a home fighter get booed for winning. The guy is a joke.

Saying that, he should have won the other day. No question
