I think its a policy that is there to stop people, or at least make it harder. But I dont think its that strict.
They only seem to take it serious for the low level guys.

I seriously doubt it. They are all juiced in WWE
No reason to drug test, as there is no real competition- its like drug testing for Eastenders

surely he's drugs tested for the WWE as well though?Originally posted by meffin View PostUFC confirm they have triggered an exemption for new fighters that they don't need to be drug tested for 4 months after they sign- for Brock.
Basically saying he's full to the brim of steroids but having him fight on the card is more important.

There should be an exemption for clean fighters bringing shovels into the octagon against dopers.

One of the Brothers does not like him and Ariel is one of those guys who rubs certain people up the wrong way. I am glad common sense prevailed .. still the UFC is turning into quite the ****ehouse Cuntbag of a Company

Wanted to send a message, which is a bit of a joke.
Helwani did nothing wrong, unless he released previously embargoed information early. Which I doubt because the guy isn't an idiot.
Following a conversation with the editorial team at SB Nation, UFC will not prevent MMAFighting.com from receiving media credentials to cover live UFC events. We respect the role the media plays in our sport and beyond, including MMAFighting’s ability to report news. However, in our opinion, we believe the recurring tactics used by its lead reporter extended beyond the purpose of journalism. We feel confident our position has now been adequately communicated to the SB Nation editorial team.
UFC’s goal as the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion is to cultivate interest in its world-class athletes and events, and deliver for the fans. We will continue to introduce this sport and its athletes to new fans across the world, and we will do so by working alongside media across all platforms.
All bans lifted apparently.

It's the problem you have when you have mobsters running a company though, they go back to mobster tactics.
I am almost done with the sport, every month it becomes less and less about what I am all about. Its turning into a slightly more violent version of the WWF sponsored by the US military, not really my bag

Ariel Helwani has been sacked for doing his job. Honestly ever since the UFC got into bed with FOX they have become harder and harder to like.
I remember back in the early days being so refreshingly impressed with Dana White, here is a guy who just says it as it is, no ****ing about, here is a promotion that puts on fights people want to see, here is a company that is all about the fans .. it was authentic .. it had the amazing Joe Rogan in toe ..the Branding was cool as **** ... and as somebody whos not a little bit of martial arts .. you got the impression it was all about two fighters testing themselves .. which ultimately is what all martial arts is about in my opinion.
I liked the purity of two fighters doing something really hard, training really hard and putting there balls on the line, and in the end shaking hands or making sure the other one was ok. Its the same respect you see in Rugby, theres a camaraderie there, its like soldiers who have gone through basic training, a mutual respect of the other opponent that we share something, I know what you have gone through to get here.
Then one by one, things started to change. A real watershed moment was Chael Sonnen. A incredibly boring fighter, a fighter whilst I respect his skills basically nearly won two belts by laying on top of fighters and rabbit punching them in the face & WWE bull****. People took notice .. **** if a **** figher like Sonnen gets this much hype and money from talking ****, maybe I should also take **** .... later enter Conor Mcgregor ...
Now we have shows about shows, every single fighter has a beed with his opponent, they all wear the same shorts, the fights we want to see happen dont always happen ... People like Burt Watson get fired for speaking his mind
Its pushing me very close to saying **** the UFC, I am going to start following another promotion, that looks after its fighters, people and fans better
