Another that has Aldo winning, even though he thinks they both believe they'll lose.

Anybody see Edgar lay out Mendes? Anyone think the referee was a bit hasty stopping it?

He looks rough as ****Originally posted by Gibbo View PostConor doesn't look as bad as he has in the past.
Edit - Yes he does.
Got to wonder if theres any long term effects of a guy his size cutting like this three or more times a year.
I love the 'hold me back' 'hold me back' posturing at weigh ins. As if they're going to risk millions of dollars to slap each other at a weigh in.
Might actually stay up for this and comment on how Joshua would destroy them all

Ten minutes research and i'm finding opinions on forums like.... 'snake oil salesman', 'fraud', 'leech', but also others saying those with such opinions don't understand what he's about or can bring to Conors development.Originally posted by Gibbo View PostI think the mental advantage would've benefitted Conor a lot more if the fight happened in July. Aldo has had time to rest on it now and think about it, and I'm sure it's not bothering as much as it did.
I'm not a fan of this movement coach guy that Conor has got in and is raving about. 100% he is a cunt.
Personally, i have no idea, could see how an upper body expert could help, but how much more than a top regular type trainer i'm not so sure. i do think Conor is the type of guy that's open to anything though, if he thinks it helps him then it probably does in some small way, so long as he doesn't plan a whole fight strategy around it.
He'll need some sort of plan to avoid taking kicks on a regular basis though, no idea what Aldo's floor work is like, or whether that's a strong part of his skill set, but all the talk seems to be about his kicking ability.
This is he, but if Conor even attempts to get these moves into a fight he'll get battered.

But once the fight starts, instinct will no doubt take over for a seasoned fighter like him. 10 yrs! ten ****in years in this game undefeated!
it's hard to know. I do think though that Aldo just isn't that type of mouthy guy and he looks uncomfortable trying to retort. He does look unsure on times around McGregor but IMO its got to do with the language barrier and McGregor being so witty.
I hope it lives up to the epic hype it's got. Aldo on his game is an absolute beast though.
