UFC has negotiated with its first Icelander, Gunnar Nelson. His first fight will be in november against Pascal Krauss, do you guys know anything about that dude?

Ive wanted the UFC to sign him fir a few years. Gunnar Nelson is a ****ing beast! I know of him through his BJJ/grappling- hes an elite level BJJ fighter and I think he got his black belt at 22, which for a sport where it usually takes minimum 10 years is quite an achievement.

I'm excited about him, he's a top guy by all accounts as well, has a good head on him and very easy going it seems. I would absolutely love to see Renan Barao take on Jose Aldo, dude is a beast. It's unfortunate that it won't happen.
Think Renan will do a number on Cruz too, and Cruz is one of my favourite fighters, he will be a lot harder to hit than Faber but those let kicks are vicious.

1) Jones would utterly rag doll him

White got laid into Jones at the press conference yesterday
I can totally understand why Jones wanted no part of a new opponent at 8 days notice ditto not wanting another title fight at very short notice.
Pulling the entire event just goes to show how weak the card was. Out with Jones / Henderson it was fairly poor.Comment
