He is the best ever. Would destroy any of the fighters from the past. It's a young sport. I guess we will see even better in 10 years. I think John Jones has the tools to become great too.

Did anyone watch UFC152 at the weekend? Thought it was a great event. Jon Jones demonstrated why he is one of the best in the business against Belfort. Especially riding out that arm-bar. Thought it was going to snap off.
Bisping proved he deserves a shot at the Middleweight title. He has done it time and time again, and has come along way since his controversial decision win over Matt Hamill at UFC 75. I think a fight against Silva could be a winner. He wont win. But to see him headline would be brilliant for the UK fight scene.
Mighty Mouse won, which surprise me, as I thought Benavidez was the better fighter. Which leads me to another question....

No, its not down on Challengers. But the ones who could go with Silva are not really a draw at the moment. Weidman and Rockhold are still quite new, and for them to be fed to Silva at this point would destroy their drawing power down the line I think.*Except Michael, who died.Comment

Also, something that surprised me about Bisping. Joe Rogan said it the other night, his resting heart rate is 34bpm. That's basically a beat every 2 seconds.

He is very technical when he fights, nearly every punch connects. He has moved up to 4th in the all time list of significant strikes landed. Stann really rocked him in the first didn't he.

The armbar from Belfort was on so tight. I honestly thought that was it for Jones, especially when you saw it pop, fair play to the guy really showed his toughness, its a shame that the success that Vitor got there pretty much changed the course of the fight, Vitor was just asking for trouble pulling guard all the time.
I was very impressed with mighty mouse, very quick and very accurate, a well deserved win and did very well to get out of that submission.
Bisping is a brilliant fighter. He's very calm and his cardio is second to none, his hands are fast and very accurate. One of the most underrated fighters on the entire UFC roster, he's only ever been knocked out by the cannon arm of Dan Henderson, and his losses (minus the Sonnen one where he was robbed) aren't ones to be ashamed of, he's probably not on Silvas level, but then who is?
The real fight that needs to happen is Anderson vs Bones, and I honestly think Jon would be too much for Silva, man is a serious freak of nature.The times they are a changin'.Comment

I've been watching this sport since the likes of Pat Smith & Gracie so it's been quite some time since I started watching this and I know the sport well my friend, I go and watch fighters such as jimi manuwa, Nick Chapman and whomever is fighting on these bills.
My point is the middleweight division is quite thin on the ground, whilst Bisping might be decent he's lost against Sonnen (might have been harsh), Silva, Henderson & Evans most are better fighters than him (maybe not Sonnen) who also haven't managed to do the job on Silva (he is the best fighter I've ever seen in UFC).
Do you think for instance Bisping would beat Rich Franklin? RF was well beaten by Silva twice at the time and also admitted by Silva he was the best figher at middleweight bar himself.
The biggest fight that is out there apparently is Silva vs. GSP ask yourself why? Don't get me wrong Silva is a freak of a fighter but we need some more coming through the middleweight division.
Bisping is a decent fighter but he's not a "great fighter"Comment
