He's never turned a fight down though and apart from one blip has beaten everyone that's been put in front of him pretty conclusively.

I think he's quite level headed personally but just has great belief in his ability and that's not a bad thing to have in a sport where the objective is to win fights against trained punching machines.

I don't know why people hate Khan so much. I can never recall his being cocky or arrogant. He seems to be a real down to earth family lad. The only time he's caused any bother is driving too quickly and running red lights. I think he can go a long way under Roach. I'm a Ricky Hatton fan but I think he's on his way down and Hatton on the way up and it wouldn't be a good fight for Hatton to pick. I think Khan would be too quick and too well prepared under Roach and would beat Hatton in this moment in time. Ricky seems to have lost that body punching he used so effectively on his way up. Not sure why as it was his main weapon and took opponents out in style with huge body blows.

Khan is only 22. The big fights against big names don't come to most fighters till they are much older

Sky reporting he is going to announce a comeback on Friday.

This can't end well can it?

Mate of mine lives right near him and sees him out and about in Hyde all the time. Apparently it's common knowledge around there, and in Hatton's boozer, that he's been coming back for a while.

And no it definitely can't end well.

He was frank about it last time and said quite clearly his punch resistance has gone, and that once that's gone you're finished. Bizarre decision to come back. He can't be skint, surely.

Been rumored for months that he's on the come back trail. He was in Boxing News a few weeks back looking in pretty good shape for a retired boxing.

Word is that he'll be putting a show on at the MEN against Paulie Mallinaggi and it'll be on either ITV or BoxNation in early November.

Mallinaggi will be a sensible (well as sensible as this whole thing can be) fight as he doesn't really pack much of a punch.

Still seems ****ing mad to me considering how he lives his life outside of the ring.

Does anyone really want to see this? He should stay retired, I can't see this doing him any good. I can understand that he might not want to bow out on that Pacquiao loss, but boxing at any reasonable level is serious, and I'm not sure he'll be doing this for the right reasons, but we'll see. If it is indeed Paulie Malinaggi, I'd expect Paulie to box circles around him, but as said he has pillow fists, so I guess from a getting really hurt point of view it's not really on the cards.
