Apparently the owner of the Miami Dolphins has come out in support of his 4 players. Interesting, and I am sure not a move that will make him universally popular.

I watched 42 the other night, not knowing a huge amount about Jackie Robinson, it's a pretty standard biopic. These guys are channeling the same spirit and instead using their position to shine a light on the race issues that remain. Good on them.

For those that don't follow the sport he's the Indianapolis Colts Quarterback. He's probably one of the top 5 QBs in the league. He's 29 years old and could have conceivably played for another decade at NFL level.

Akin to Mane or Salah retiring.
