Thats only because there was a hatrick. We were looking good on 220. Things change quickly in cricket.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostArent they 220 for 5?
Makes 260 all out look a bit rubbish. It's fair to say that the aussies are likely to go into the 2nd innings with a fair lead.*Except Michael, who died.

I know, I remember watching England earlier in the year thinking we had some test sown up. We then lost 3 quick wickets and I got nervous very quickly. I love the sport. Its good drama. There is nothing like a good test match.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostI think people don't quite realise just how quickly a test match can change, they all thing because its 5 days that nothing ever happens.*Except Michael, who died.

Wasn't long ago when England were 6 down and as good as all out
I love Test cricket too. I know where Neil's coming from a lot of the time, it can go through very boring phases. I was struggling during the morning session last night, not a lot happened, we bowled poorly and my eyes were closing.
But when stuff starts happening
it is extremely engrossing. I love the fact that it's a team game broken up into a series of one v one battles.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

So true Shaggy. It happens in all sports, I often go to bed in the middle of one of LFC's games because its boring... My mate put it well to me one time when he said, cricket is a finer art. To really appreciate the sport you have to know what makes it good.
For example, if a ball beats the outside edge, people who know nothing (Craig) about the sport just think its nothing, while cool people (cricket fans) jump out of their seats at the sheer closeness of a wicket being taken.
The best thing about having the cricket on is you can have the sound down low so you only hear the commentators when something happens, in the background while you get some jobs done or are at work pretending to do something (Shaggy)96 Never Forgotten

That's true, but he only seems to do that when you already have 300+ on the board or a commanding lead.Originally posted by Fernandinho View PostEvery now and again he goes nuts but. I have seen him get some good runs on the tail end of some of our innings.
When he comes to the crease when you are trailing or only just in front, he plays within himself and is often quite scratchy.
