Some good fights happening tonight. Any of you going to be watching?
Amir Khan v Marcos Maidana (WBA light-welterweight).
Nathan Cleverly v Alejandro Lakatos (WBO interim light-heavyweight),
Matthew Macklin v Ruben Varon (European middleweight)
Paul Smith v James DeGale (British super-middleweight)
Tony Bellew v Ovill McKenzie (Commonwealth light-heavyweight)
Kell Brook v Philip Kotey (WBO inter-continental welterweight)
Thoughts/Predictions? I'm going for...
Khan by UD
Cleverly by early KO
Macklin by late KO
DeGale by KO
Brook by KO
Hope Khan and DeGale lose though. Even though Maidana has an excellent KO rate and is a good boxer - I just think Freddie Roach is too good at spotting opponents weaknesses, he seems to have the ability to turn ordinary fighters (Khan) into good fighters and good fighters into great ones - also listened to an interview with Roach and seems to have spotted quite a lot in Maidana that can be exploited. Really do hate Khan though and watching him get knocked out by Breidis Prescott gave me almost as much pleasure as beating United 4-1 at OT.
