Now that Sky have their foot in the F1 door it is only a matter of time before it is taken off terrestrial TV altogether. Hopefully it will go the same way as the F1 pay per view a few years ago and ends up back on the Beeb full time.

The Bahrain issue should be a none starter in any sane persons mind but not in the mind of F1's own Rumpelstiltskin.

The Lazenby main anchor guy is beyond help. Absolutely useless. He can barely string a sentence together and doesn't seem to have a clue what he's talking about - the difference between him and Jake Humphries is stupidly crazy - Humphries knows his **** and is brilliant at improvising. His fandom and knowledge sets him apart.

As for the qualy - wow. Best session I've seen in a long time - Hamilton was phenomenal and the Red Bulls look like they have got some concepts wrong over the winter, Mercedes look closer despite Rosberg ****ing his final lap up and Ferrari are absolutely terrible. This season should be hugely competitive.

But I'll be watching as much as I can on BBC - Sky's coverage is shambolic. Georgie ****ing Thomson and the rest of the careerist rent a presenters can **** right off.

Yeah I tried to watch some Sky today and it was an instant turn off. Helmet cam is ace,but that's the only good thing I can say.

Setanta Ireland for me when the Beeb aren't live.

Hope nobody's car turns out to be massively quicker than the rest and hopefully Ferrari get their arse in gear asap.

I stopped watching it years ago, due to the bordom factor. A mate of mine loves it he never misses a race, sad ****er
