It really wasn't boring! The first 15 laps were nonstop action!

Brilliant race, Button drove a blinder. As did Alonso in a shockingly bad Ferrari.

Its boring people calling it boring tbh.

Yeah **** that getting up at half 4! Put the coverage on at half nine on Sky and didn't let anyone turn TV's or internet on anywhere else in the house incase I inadvertently saw the result

I will admit I have no idea what's going on with **** like DRS, 'safety cars' (WTF) and all that other stuff, but I found the start reasonably interesting, first few laps okay then by about 15 laps it had become another procession.

I understand Button led all the way. How interesting.

Yeah, he lead every lap of the race, but it was the way he did it - he's the consummate professional, cool under pressure

Its easy saying its boring, but F1 has provided some of the greatest competitive resolutions of any sport over the last few years - fair enough last year was a bit flat, but Vettel and Red Bull were imperious.

2007 - rookie driver upsetting the reigning double world champion so much he left his team the end of the season after being out performed by the younger man, but still only losing the title by one point on the final race of the season to the guy who was supposed to finish 3rd - amazing stuff

2008 - Massa's family jumping and crying in celebration not realising Hamilton had passed Timo Glock on the last corner of the last race of the season to get the 5th place he needed to win the title, and the cameras being on his dad when he was told the news... you couldn't script it!

And look at Button's win in Canada last year, last to first place, safety cars, crashes, the race was stopped half way through for unbelievable weather conditions, and he passed everyone else racing! Everyone!

More people dislike it, I know. Thats why its a minority sport. I love it though.

I find the whole soap opera side of it fairly interesting, you definitely couldn't script some of the crazy **** that goes on, I just find the races so, so boring.

Bit like the Premiership was for years till Abramovic turned up though, or the old 1st Div till Fergie turned up..

well at least I am looking forward to this tomorrow. McClaren look bloody strong at the moment, should be a good race.

Thank **** for F1! McLaren actually have a car that looks like its good for the season. The conditions from the two tracks are completely different as are the dynamics of the tracks themselves. If the car is that good at both, its hugely versatile. When Red Bull come back into it in the European races, its going to make for a ****ing great season.

Wondering about Rosberg now - he looks like he's never going to be that top driver some people reckoned he was destined to be. He doesn't have race craft, and fades badly. With Mercedes rumoured to be upping investment over the next few years, and Schumi knocking on, I'm wondering if Vettel or Hamilton might be getting their motorhome doors knocked on...

Vettel would be the obvious choice if they can match his ambition, I agree about Rosberg there are just too many silly little errors that constantly undermine what he could do.

Race in KL should be really good, the Australian GP was typically pretty dull (one of the worst on the calendar for me) but this circuit is really made for racers although the temperature will mean there needs to be some good tire management.

Fancy Lewis to take this really.
