Why surprised ? Don't people just want to see other people happy ?

Bloke tried to commit suicide, suffered from depression, so he must have been tormented by the feelings he has.

Unless you think it's biologically impossible for it to be the case that humans can be trapped in the wrong body ?

Generally speaking, it really doesn't seem like they do, no.

          Wonder why that is ?

I was more talking about people with issues, mental disorders, personality problems that effect their well being.

How can anyone not want those people to be happy in themselves.

I have very little faith in people and would generally expect it to be a laughing stock. Rightly or wrongly for me the majority of people are pricks and I presumed that the general reaction would be otherwise. The fact that guys like Lennox Lewis etc shows promise for humanity.

My wording was poor, it makes it sound like I'm against it. To be frank I don't really care enough, I don't know the guy I'm very neutral in regards to it. If he wants to do it, fine by me.

Unrelated, but I don't believe you can run away with your problems. Many of them are just there, changing your country, gender etc doesn't necessarily mean you'll not be plagued by the same issues which is worth remembering as it's what's inside which matters, otherwise the things will eventually reoccur. It's the mechanics of being human.

On boxing it seems like Andre Ward and Goossen are still locked in a legal battle. It's really a shame that one of the best fighters in our generation doesn't fight because of administration/promotional reasons. It'd be interesting to see what would happen if he got into the ring with Golovkin. I think he's probably the only one who has a good realistic chance of beating him.

Fair enough, was'nt accusing you of being heartless or anything, and your third paragraph explains exactly why he eventually came out.

Like you, i couldn't care less what he does so long as it hurts noone, but as Kenneth says, there seems to be plenty of people who will slag him and others like him off, regardless of the fact it has no effect on them or that they don't know him.

That's too nice a word. He is one of the worst commentators. Doesn't have a clue how to score fights.

I'm so glad he told Khan to get in the queue. He's called him out so many times and all Khan kept saying was "You're not on my level" "You've got to earn it" blah blah" Wait in line now baby

                            Made up for Kell

Brilliant to see a British boxer win a World title in America.

Jim Watt ought to have a long hard look at himself. Almost as though he had decided before the fight that Porter was going to win and then commentated accordingly. Shameful stuff and not the first big fight he's done this in.
