Thought Foreman's and Hopkins' insights were great.

At the moment I think Mayweather takes a split decision. I really hope Manny comes out swinging and I think he will.

I'm a bit of a boxing novice and I've not watched the build-up, but how does Pacquiao win this? What's his best chance?

Consensus seems to be if he goes for a full on assault he'll get picked off, and he can't sit back and accumulate points like Mayweather can, so what's the middle ground. Not sure I get Roach's hit two shots and get out thing. Has Manny ever done that before?

Oh and I spent last Saturday alone at home as wife and kid were away and watched old Tysons fights on YouTube. It was great shame his incessant shagging and then his darker side ruined his career.

I also watched the HBO Thrilla in Manila doc again. I know it's a bit one-sided but Ali does come across as an arse in it. Still don't get why he's so universally loved (apart from the Vietnam draft thing). The gorilla and uncle Tom stuff was pretty low

I dont think there will be a knock out.

So for me it'll all depend on how quick Mayweather can adjust to Manny's hand speed and movement, I think if Manny takes the first 4 rounds then Floyd will have to become a bit more offensive which will play more into Pacquiao's hands.

I think Manny starts quick either way and won't be worried about Floyd knocking him out too much, it's all about how quick Floyd can adjust(because he will) and how many rounds Manny can get in the bank, if any, before he does.
The times they are a changin'.

Is Manny still as quick as he was? Is the southpaw thing overplayed or could it cause Mayweather problems early on?

Manny hasn't knocked anyone out since 2009 and Floyd hasn't since 2011.

Everything points to the fight going to points.

I think it'll be a UD for Mayweather. However i'd be overjoyed if Pacman were to get a UD/MD or even a KO

Pacquiao's reach is 6 inches shorter than Floyds. He'll have to constantly be on the more, in couple of punches and out. Floyd is an absolute genius of defensive boxing, fighting of the back foot and counter punching. If Pacquiao is to win then it'll be because of volume punching.

If you watch that legends show (above) Hopkins gives some good insight into how he thinks Manny will cause Mayweather problems.

Anyone tempted by 16/1 on the draw?

Makes sense for most lucrative fight ever to have a guaranteed rematch and boxing is bent as ****
