haha saw this yesterday, Fury was absolutely bang on, he predicted this would happen and low and behold Klitschko does just that. I might be in the minority here but I honestly don't believe the injury is bad enough if at all to postpone the fight. I just think Klitschko is a little rattled and allowed Fury to get under his skin and probably wants more time to prepare for the fight.

Fury has gone on about people pulling out before fighting him many times in the past.
Is pretty much part of his patter before every fight and he was at it long before the two Haye bouts were cancelled.
He is not so loud though when he pulls out of fights or out of negotiations for fights.
Ustinov he left hanging after Fury's uncle was sick. Wonder how Fury would react if a similar reason was given for someone pulling out against him.
Pulev he cancelled negotiations with when he saw the pound signs that came with a potential Haye bout.
Fury also seems to have forgotten how he himself pulled out of a couple more fights earlier in his career stating that he had back problems pretty close to fight night.
But in Fury's world it is a only a sign of being ducked if it is done to him. When he pulls out of fights it is not an issue .I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

11th round TKO win for Wilder last night.
Very one sided, with Duhaupas taken a LOT of punishment, but despite the one sided nature of the fight Duhaupas showed that Wilder is quite lazy with his D and that Wilder can be tagged. The marking on Wilder's face at the end of the fight was interesting given that Duhaupas only connected with 98 punches over the 11 rounds.
Wilder on the other hand connected with over 300 punches, many of then clean headshots.
Have to give Wilder credit for not getting disheartened when his best shots bounced off the fighter from France time and again, but for me some of the questions I have about how true his stopping power is were raised again.
He is a heavy hitter, I have little doubt about that, but I still don't think he is a true hard hitter.
Povetkin should be Wilder's next bout, assuming Povetkin beats Wach in five or six weeks time, and if Wilder is still undefeated it looks like a push will be made to match him against the winner of Klitschko/Fury sometime around next September.
Might be a sign of how my own expectations for the heavy division have fallen, but I am kind of liking the idea of Wilder in against Klitschko or Fury. If nothing else it would bring with it the chance of Klitschko or Fury having to take part in a higher tempo fight (for as long as it lasted) that what either are generally used to.
Joshua vs Wilder in 12 or so months is another that interests me. Again more for the potential tempo of the bout rather than any expectation of quality.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Not sure how Khan will deal with the pressure from Manny but I'd love to see it
Think a switched on Khan would be able to handle it tbh. Granted Pacquiao would be, and by a massive distance, better than anyone Khan has faced, but his pressure fighting is nowhere near being as good as it once was.
Pacquiao has not stopped anyone since 2009, and if we look over his past nine or ten fights he has not turned the screw on anyone with the sort of dead eyed intensity he was once capable of.
I reckon age and size would come into play, and that Khan's advantage in both would be enough to offset the level of pressure fighting (and whilst it is nowhere near peak it is still of a level befitting a high level fighter) that Pacquiao brings.
Now that is all on the assumption that Khan brought his A game and was also switched on defensively.
But for me the current version of Khan, 29 years of age this December, firing on all cylinders beats the current version of Pacquiao (38 years of age in a few months) firing on all cylindersI don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Think he would have more than a good chance to be fair. I'm not Khan's biggest fan but surely a fully fit and focused Khan has too much for a past his best Pac.
Khan and his people should be kicking down doors to make this fight happen.
If he wins he gets a high profile scalp and the chance of going in against Mayweather ( and we all know Mayweather will be back for the right pay day).
If Khan loses then it will be spun as a loss against the best, and the media will paint a picture of Pac as if he is in his prime.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Paccy has far too much for this attention seeking wannabe. He will be all over him like 10 angry men!Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostThink he would have more than a good chance to be fair. Four or five years ago I would be nodding my head to what you said, but Pac has slowed a hell of a lot, and his pressure fighting is now in bursts rather than a series of intense waves of attacks.
Since he and Alex Ariza stopped working together there has been a massive drop off in speed, and power. His muscle mass has also changed dramatically since he stopped taking those special "smoothies".
Pac of up to 2009 or so would have eaten the current version of Khan alive, but a current Khan vs a clean current Pac is not a foregone conclusion imho.
Khan has the size, reach, and power to beat Pac. The big question about Khan against Pac would be mental not physical. Can he stay focused, and can he stick to a smart game plan? If he can do that and not show too much respect to Pac, then I think he can win.
On the other hand if he shows too much respect and stands off of Pac, then Pac would grow into the fight very quickly and be able to pick off Khan.
Right now though I would favour Khan, and cannot see that changing between now and the potential ringwalk if Khan has a proper training camp and the right fight prep.
The guy I would love to see Khan in with though is Danny Garcia as that is a fight that would answer a lot of questions about Khan and about how much he has or has not improved since they met in 2012.
Matthysse is another I would like to see in with Khan, but like Garcia I suspect he may be too "live" a fighter for Khan to want in with.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
