At times I kind of wish he would fight a little bit more like he did in the unpaid ranks but then again it would take a pretty special fighter to be able to draw the technician to the surface and keep him there as to do so would mean surviving the bombs he can throw.
He really was a lovely amateur to watch though, and whilst he has always had power the technical side of his game rarely gets the sort of lavish praise it deserves. Can still recall the schooling he gave Andy Lee at the World Championships (a wonderfully controlled performance from GGG) 12 years ago, and also the way he tore Bute apart at the same WC.
I see shades of my all time favourite boxer in Golovkin, and think he brings a similar mix of strong mentality, all round skills and heavy handedness to what Hagler brought (although I don't think GGG is quite on the same level as that of peak Hagler.)
The fight I would love to see, and I have mentioned it a few times before, would be GGG getting into the ring with Andre Ward. I just think their styles are made for one another and that they would have the ability to bring the very best out of the other.

Andre Ward is an absolute joke. Pitiful. Glad that got ****ed off, though not exactly much consistency!
