He is a very easy fighter to watch alright. He has a bit of everything to please pretty much everyone from the casual boxing fan to the most avid technique watcher.

At times I kind of wish he would fight a little bit more like he did in the unpaid ranks but then again it would take a pretty special fighter to be able to draw the technician to the surface and keep him there as to do so would mean surviving the bombs he can throw.

He really was a lovely amateur to watch though, and whilst he has always had power the technical side of his game rarely gets the sort of lavish praise it deserves. Can still recall the schooling he gave Andy Lee at the World Championships (a wonderfully controlled performance from GGG) 12 years ago, and also the way he tore Bute apart at the same WC.

I see shades of my all time favourite boxer in Golovkin, and think he brings a similar mix of strong mentality, all round skills and heavy handedness to what Hagler brought (although I don't think GGG is quite on the same level as that of peak Hagler.)

The fight I would love to see, and I have mentioned it a few times before, would be GGG getting into the ring with Andre Ward. I just think their styles are made for one another and that they would have the ability to bring the very best out of the other.

        Nothing fight.

He's seriously regressed in the last year or so.

Eddie delivers again. What a disgraceful fight.

We should have been seeing Kell Brook defend his World Title tonight followed by Fury vs Klitschko....instead we get Eubank jr vs Tony Jeter

Spike O'Sullivan looks an interesting character.

Andre Ward's fight against a guy named Rohan Murdock has been thrown out by the state commission

Andre Ward is an absolute joke. Pitiful. Glad that got ****ed off, though not exactly much consistency!

He will give Eubank a stiffer test than Jeter, that's for sure. If he can land early then it could be an interesting fight, but really difficult to see anything other than a Eubank win, probably by UD.

It's a fairly sizable step up for Eubank Jr. He should have had this type of fight after Chudinov. To go from Chudinov in Feb to Jeter in October when you're in what should be your prime is criminal.

Compared to Jeter it is a big step up, but Gary would still be a step below the best Eubank Jr has faced to date.

Without trying to be dismissive of him, Gary would be a step below the likes of Andy Lee or BJS and should add another W to Eubank Jr's record.

He should however be very game, and if Eubank Jr does not take him seriously then it could turn into a very stiff test.

My guess is that Eubank Jr is a tad stronger, and more durable than Gary, whilst having an edge in speed as well. But as said in this thread by a few folk in the past, a lot will depend on whether Eubank Jr can fight in a manner that best suits his own abilities rather than seemingly taking on some traits from Senior's post Watson career.

Amir Khan says he is the favourite to face Manny Pacquiao in the Filipino boxing legend's final fight.

Khan had earlier suggested the match was unlikely but now believes there is a "big chance" of taking on the seven-weight world champion.

Alongside Khan, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum has also named Terence Crawford and Tim Bradley as possible contenders for his star's last bout.
"I am the front-runner," Khan told BBC Sport.

"Manny Pacquiao makes a good story because we've been training partners and I've been with his coach Freddie Roach.

"There's a big chance of the fight happening, it's all about making sure my team is on point with the deal and they need to make sure they get the fight that I want."

Khan hoped to be Floyd Mayweather Jr's final opponent before the multiple world champion opted to fight Andre Berto instead but Khan believes Pacquiao, 36, is looking for a higher profile end to his career.

"It would be Manny Pacquiao's last fight and end his career in a big way, not like Floyd Mayweather where, no disrespect to Berto, but I think Floyd finished his career on a low note," he added.

As an alternative to Pacquiao, Khan is not ruling out an all-British clash with Kell Brook despite also identifying rematches with Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson and a bout with Shawn Porter.

Brook, 29, defeated Porter over 12 rounds last year but Khan insists his fellow Brit still needs to prove himself against the best.

"My body's taken all the wear and tear where I'm fighting the best fighters in the world and he's not even fighting half of them," said Khan.

"I want him to prove himself so it's a big fight, we go into the ring 50-50 and it's a massive fight not only for Great Britain but around the world."

Khan is currently training in Doha, the site of the 2015 World Amateur Boxing Championships, and says the Middle East could soon host a headline professional bout.

"The Middle East has never had a big, big fight," he said.

"They've had a few decent names but no one in their prime, putting on a world title fight, so I think it's going to happen soon."

You think that if he, or his advisor's, would have learned anything from their fruitless pursuit of a Mayweather fight it'd be to shut the **** up.
