If he wins tonight he's a belt holder. Not a World Champion.
Am guessing that you are referring to the lineal champion being the world champion and everyone else being a belt holder?I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Ha thought something very similar.
Must be wrong though as would not like Dave to try and big himself up outside a ring and then suffer ball shrinkage inside one

I'd love the Ortiz fight but would be amazed if they took that risk, Pov won't happen either. Am expecting a Chisora, Browne if possible, Stiverne, Arreola type reign of terror for a while. Then maybe Haye next summer 2017 or something.

Cracking comment and a ****ing funny one too.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Doesn't have to be lineal. See my middleweight example.Originally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostAm guessing that you are referring to the lineal champion being the world champion and everyone else being a belt holder?
Joshua isn't the heavyweight champion of the world. That accolade for the time being belongs to Tyson Fury.

Had only skimmed the thread and missed that post.
Would have to agree with what you said in it.
Fury is the lineal champion and I would also see him as the world champion, but although GGG is not the lineal champ at middleweight I would see him as the proper world champion.
Would normally be a bit of a purist with regards to lineage, but sometimes a fighter is so obvious as the best in the world, as GGG is, without having had a shot at making the lineal title his own.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Don't you know that Haye is a top class heavyweight who is exciting in the ring and who has fought the top guys time after time at heavy?
Well that's how Haye tells it anyway.

I know many people can't stand him but I love his interviews
. A lot of what he says I take with a pinch of salt as it's just part of his mind games. I've got to say his father made some valid points towards the end of this interview
Team Fury
