Glass Joe fighting here, a gust of wind would blow him over.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Not much in it, but think Frampton needs these last 2.

                Coulations Carl. Great performance.

Not sure how we can get 114 - 114 and 117 - 112 from the same fight

The sceptic in me gave the close rounds to Santa Cruz, but to be fair to Frampton, he outboxed him and went toe to toe when necessary, so a fair result in the end.

I had it as a draw but hoped Frampton had edged it. Always tricky when my own bias had it that Frampton was the better boxer, but Santa Cruz was throwing many more punches and came on stronger towards the end of the fight. Made up for Frampton, but the 117-111 scorecard is a joke, that was never a 9 rounds to 3 fight.

Don't know why Santa Cruz was talking about a rematch in LA though. If he'd won, maybe. Now, not a chance that a rematch would be anywhere other than Belfast.

Well done Frampton. I did have the fight a lot closer than one of the judges.

Rigondeaux has called him on twitter so fingers crossed this fight happens. There's always Mr Selby too.

Re-watched the Frampton fight. Was half asleep on Sunday morning when it was originally on. Frampton was fantastic. I thought he'd really struggle against Santa Cruz's extra long reach but, for the most part, he nullified it beautifully and took one of Santa Cruz's most potent weapons away from him.

He's a genuine world class talent and made up for him and the McGuigans. His career has been steered beautifully up until this point.

Also great to see Mikey Garcia back and banging people out. Shame he's lost what could be the prime of career but there are some fantastic fights at 135 for him. Don't imagine he'll fear anyone at that weight.

Frampton pretty much poured cold water on that match up saying there would be no money in the fight for him.
